Biography
Serena Grassetti
Art as a Connection between Nature and Humanity

Serena Grassetti is a contemporary Italian artist whose visual research focuses on the profound relationship between nature and human interiority. She works with natural pigments, eco-printing, and charcoal on raw fabrics, creating works that oscillate between figuration and abstraction. The incomplete faces, drips, and instinctive marks become fragments of emotion, traces suspended between presence and fading.
Her language emerges from a slow, material process, in which earth, plants, and minerals transform into color and engage with the intimate dimension of the human being. The resulting works evoke silence, metamorphosis, and identity, inviting the viewer into an authentic emotional experience.
She has collaborated with galleries, participated in group shows, and held solo exhibitions in her hometown, both in public and private settings. Her works are included in national and international collections and continue to attract the attention of enthusiasts and professionals in the field.
